I was born a buckeye! I follow anything and everything ohio state. I also am a browns fan(for my dad) and a reds fan(for pete rose)-->I am from columbus. I like the whole recruiting game! I am more interested in recruiting than XBox or PS3.

I hate michigayn and the steelers---****Oh I also hate Mark May.<<---i have a few teams that I will root for except when they play the buckeyes-notre dame, tennessee, and air force.

From Sylvania/Toledo area. My profession is a union plumber/pipefitter I really enjoy watching football on all levels.
At the high school the teams I root for are Sylvania Southview (alma mater), and Toledo Whitmer.
NFL my teams are the Dallas Cowboys and a distant second Cleveland.
Favorite College teams are the Toledo Rockets and The Ohio State University.
Favorite players from tOSU are Eddie George, Chris Spielman, and Andy Katzenmoyer, and Ted Ginn Jr.
This is a great board I enjoy coming to this board and find that I am coming back often to see what great things are happening for the team, especially the recruitment page. I will be almost ninja like in that I will not post much at all but I will be watching/reading. Awesome board.

Been reading BuckeyePlanet for a while and really enjoy the conversation topics and love to be able to read posts from Buckeye fans with a lot more years under their belt than myself. Looking forward to continuing to learn a lot from all the other Buckeye fans on BP.

About myself:

Originally from the Marietta, Ohio area. Born and raised a Buckeye fan and a Browns fan (old enough to remember my first game at Municipal Stadium, barely :biggrin:) and will be until the day I die. Have always had a passion for playing/watching football, but had the short-lived playing career end in h.s. because of a heart condition, so I now just focus my attention tOSU football. Proud brother of a former arena league football player and current grad student at Ohio U and alum of Marietta College. Lucky enough to have my 3 professional mentors be proud graduates of tOSU and hoping to be able to start and finish my doc degree at tOSU and become a buckeye alum myself pending if they're able to reopen their rehab counseling program.

I am excited to join this board. I have been following the activity on this board for quite some time and I find it to be informative. I am an tOSU graduate and a diehard Buckeye fan. I am married to an tOSU grad and I have family that work for tOSU. I grew up in Hilliard, but now I live in Cincinnati. It is tough down here because of all the bearcat love. There are still plenty of tOSU fans down here but not like back home. Looking forward to joining in on Buckeye discussions!:oh:

Hello fellow college football fans. I lurk at lots of college football forums but post at very few. I joined this forum for one simple reason: I was reading Buckeye reactions to the way the season played out and the possibility of a "Rematch" and was amazed by the collective college football IQ here. If you go back to some of those threads in the college football forum it's eery how honest, unbiased, and close many of the predictions were.

So - I joined because this forum has some sharp fans who can discuss college football without suffering a homer heart attack.
