Some BCS facts for your SEC friends

I'll agree, we play in places as tough as they come in the nation. Unfortunately the UofW faithful didnt get up as much as they usually do for that game.

When I watched the Washington game on TV, the viewing vibrated from the crowd activity and noise. I would say that the Husky fans were up for the game that day.

I know, coming from a pac10 family I know that place is usually insane...pretty disappointing showing for the buckeyes however.

He was referring to USC, they cared less about us.

Uh, no, I wasn't. I was talking about OSU game. And I recall Mili talking about how raucous it was being there.

Washington was coming into the game undefeated (or with one loss) looking to one-up a Big 10 team. The house was packed and loud until... (as Mili put it)

Hah, well my bad. Anyways, it wasnt nearly as loud for us as it usually is, thats my only point (and any pac 10 person will probably agree). And by the way, just to match the bitter tone of your reply, A win over syracuse should hardly be what puts they huskies into a frenzy.

There's no bitterness in my "tone"; just the facts, Jack.,

I live in Oregon, and I listened to sports radio the entire week up to the game. The high anticipation was based on beating Boise St; not Syracuse. There was a fair amount of smack going on from Husky fans about the good possibility of beating an "over-rated" Big 10 team.

Edit: Washington was 2-0 heading into the OSU game. They were 2-2 heading into the SC game. The height of anticipation would, IMO, be much higher when undefeated than coming off two losses (OSU and UCLA).

Well, thats your logic as a buckeye fan, but that'd be like saying we'd ever get more up for a non conference oppenent coming into the shoe, vs. a big 10 coming in that has been "god's gift to football/our conference" for the past 5 years (which we cant relate to because thats us in the Big 10).

And I'm the one with the tone? Interesting.

It has nothing to do with logic. It has to do with what I heard and saw.

I would correlate it to the Texas/OSU experience. Locker was being promoted as the "end-all/be-all" quarterback that was going to carry UW to a very successful season. He's the prototypical quarterback that is supposed to cause OSU fits. Blah, blah, blah. I heard it and saw it. The game was hopping. Now, I don't give a shit if you want to disagree with me; but don't patronize me with stupid "logic" statements when it has nothing to do with sort.

Ultimately, if the camera is shaking while viewing a football game; then it's likely due to the activity and/or volume of the crowd. End of story.

Eeeasy sparky. No tone, im a buckeye fan too, simply a statement.

The LOGIC of your texas/osu comment...eh. That was a 1/2 matchup. This was two, young promising teams (one of which was unranked, one severely underrated)..not nearly the juggernaut that OSU/uT was.

The LOGIC of the mysterious shaking camera... Concrete and steel, while strong, is not infallible.

Bottom line, again (seem to have to remind you over and over), is not that they werent up and hopping for osu, that they were much louder for usc. Please dont respond, as I no longer care, you win.

Loaded and flippant.

I wasn't talking about the games, but the type of setting and personnel involved.

It's not a matter of fallibility of my statement or your consideration of "logic". It's a matter of what I saw on TV coupled with what Mili (an on-site spectator) experienced.

I'm not an adolescent who can't understand what someone else writes. It has nothing to do with winning an argument.

Maybe when you can quantify just how much more the UW crowd was UP for the USC game; then I'll give you a cookie, a pat and a good night wish. Until then, piss off.

they were loud as shit for the Buckeyes, until the game was essentially over at 17-7... then the loudness died big time. they were loud as shit for USC for the entire game because that game went down to the wire. loud as shit is loud as shit; the only difference is the duration of said loud as shitness...

No, he quoted your post in his reply. You post said (parts bolded for emphasis): "I'll agree, we play in places as tough as they come in the nation. Unfortunately the UofW faithful didnt get up as much as they usually do for that game.". I assume by "we" you meant "Ohio State" and by "that game" you meant "our game".
