SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

There are decent coaches out there that would jump at the chance to move up to scUM for a big increase in pay. Wasn't Tressell just making something like $60K a year at Youngstown State and he was also their AD when Ohio State hired him?

A guy like Toledo's John Candle would probably jump at the chance to move to scUM for just $3M - $4M per year; which would be a significant pay increase for him. scUM's challenge would be to find the the "right guy" though. They wouldn't want to hire a "Brady Hoke 2.0".

Hell, they probably would even be able to get Dick Rod back........
Funny thing is, I could see the scUM board and fans not wanting Candle. And thinking they deserve a bigger name. Especially if that guy isn't a *ichigan man :roll1:

As much as I hate that they won the title, it does warm my heart a little that basically nobody outside of Michigan fans really took much time to care about it after a day or two, conversation immediately shifted to Harbaugh flirting with the NFL again. Hell even Michigan fans now have switched gears to obsessing about what Ohio State is doing. It took them that long to finally win one and the shine immediately wore off. They didn't even get a honeymoon. They are going to gain absolutely nothing from their little run of success, outside of maybe some NCAA sanctions.

He's about to cripple the scUM football program... And I'm here for it!!! :sneaky:

He joined Michigan's coaching staff in 2015. Both Minter and Jay Harbaugh have demonstrated their coaching capabilities at Michigan, having each served as acting head coach during Jim Harbaugh's suspension for alleged recruiting violations.

The only thing that Jay Harbaugh has demonstrated is that he is an idiot.

Michigan's Jay Harbaugh apparently sends recruiting pitch to TE prospect's girlfriend

Nepotism is alive and well in the Harbaugh family.....

Yeah, he's taking Bonaduce with him so his "kid" doesn't get hammered by the ncaa.

They aren't bright are they? Harbaugh wants the NFL. Throwing more money at him isn't going to fix that

Yea it's obvious scUM is his backup plan if all else fails. They are just giving him more leverage with the NFL teams who may want him at this point to maybe get them to pull the trigger before he signs back on with Michigan.

He’s arguably the hottest name in football coaching right now! NFL GMs and owners don’t give a damn about the scandal, that’s the NCAA’s issue. If he can win games then they’ll want him, and he’s done it at the professional level before. He was always going to be welcomed back to the NFL, idk why people never understood this. ScUM was always his stepping stone back, I’m just surprised it took this long and I’m sure he is too. Meyer being so good and his teams being so bad threw a monkey wrench in that

Doesn't it matter how you win when you obviously can't cheat in the same way in the NFL? I would never want my franchise to touch a guy that was mediocre, unlikable, and then cheated to be able to win anything. He had to cheat to win his fucking divison in college. He also had to rely on his brother's coaches to turn things around. Don't think he'll be getting that perk in the NFL.

Yes he won in the NFL, but I think it's pretty telling that 1 year after losing in the NFC CG, he was booted for going .500. No one liked him and he was difficult to get along with. I guess if you're going to watch his success rate in CFB and only pick the last 3 years of dominance when, coincidentally, he was cheating, then you'll get what you deserve.
