SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Can't believe any NFL team would be dumb enough to hire him after all this. But you're right, front offices get desperate. Wonder if they think he'll still be getting his brother's leftovers.
He’s arguably the hottest name in football coaching right now! NFL GMs and owners don’t give a damn about the scandal, that’s the NCAA’s issue. If he can win games then they’ll want him, and he’s done it at the professional level before. He was always going to be welcomed back to the NFL, idk why people never understood this. ScUM was always his stepping stone back, I’m just surprised it took this long and I’m sure he is too. Meyer being so good and his teams being so bad threw a monkey wrench in that

Meh, those guys can all transfer to better opportunities and be fine. Id take their DT from Cbus in a heartbeat! But I doubt they lose a lot of players. They have a skill of finding delusional asshats who enjoy smelling their own farts. The Marshal kid has been saying how he’s a *ichigan man regardless of the outcome and even if(when) Hairball leaves. A buddy of mines son played football with Marshall. Once he committed, OSU had no chance of flipping him. Just like idk that Will Johnson leaves either, scUM legacy and another kid who signed with the program more than the coach, and that goes with most of the team, imo

Maybe they won't have a total exodus like Bama, but there will be a decent run of transfers if Harbaugh leaves. You'll have a few of those fart sniffers but i'm sure there's also guys who won't take too kindly to how Harbaugh left them hanging. They can hang onto the Marshall and Will Johnson's but they are gonna lose enough still that it will at least set them back some.

Losing Minter (assuming he does indeed go with Harbaugh) is really going to hurt them on the defensive side. I assume we will see more transfers from that unit than the offense. That's where almost all their better players remaining are.

Also when it comes to Sherrone Moore, Harbaugh's last disciple didn't go over so well. David Shaw was a total disaster at Stanford after the first couple years of riding the coattails of what Simple Jim started.

Much stiffer competition in the B1G now too than what Shaw faced at Stanford 2011-2013

I'm hoping they go some random direction still and send DFBIA into a total meltdown. But watching Sherrone Moore become David Shaw 2.0 (it would happen quicker than it took Shaw too) would be good fun too.

Belichick is easily the hottest commodity. Arguably Pete Carroll, Mike Vrabel are higher than him too.

If he's so welcomed back, why after several years of begging for jobs is nobody biting? Only 1 team seems to be seriously interested, despite 8 vacancies.
One of the teams that was supposed to be very interested, according to media, didn't even interview him before hiring their guy.
He's hot on the tv, but it doesn't seem like owners and GMs are impressed.
We'll see if the Chargers will finally be the ones to give him a shot after 4+ years of begging.

He’s reportedly interviewing twice for the Chargers and the Falcons, but this feels a lot like Minnesota two years ago to me, when he reportedly told the team ‘goodbye’ and got on a plane to sign a contract and they rejected his ass and he went crawling back.

All the talk implying a deal is imminent seems like it’s coming straight from his agent’s mouth to reporters as he desperately tries to create leverage to pressure someone into doing want he wants—even if that’s UM agreeing to back down on the contract clauses relating to him cheating.

Minnesota was a set up. The President of the team had been an executive with the 49ers when Toxic Jim turned it all dark. That was a revenge job worthy of a John Wick movie. Simple Jim just had that monumental cocktail of stupid amd ego to not see what was headed his way.

Chargers are a franchise desperate for attention, Nobody pays attention to them, not even in their own city. Eyes on them may be the goal here, with also the hope that he can light the spark like he did early with the 49ers.

They're the only ones taking him serious in years, is all im saying.
He's only a "hot commodity" so bored tv crews have something to talk about, while he bums around on the Ravens sideline.

Agree. Make them relevant on the field and in SoCal. They'll take those 3 or 4 years and then worry about what comes after Simple J8m turns it all black when the time comes.

It's happening. Of Course Simple can still fuck it up by being himself too much, but it looks like he's gone this time.

Smaller issues like not climbing trees or trying to stay the night for a sleepover with the players? In all seriousness, his coaching suits the NFL well but his personality and not getting along with ownership is what got him on the road out of SF. Not sure that's fixable, but we'll see.

I think his behavior fits NCAA better.
These shenanigans would be nothing at a lower tier program punching above their weight... say a West Virginia or Miss St or Syracuse.
He could carve out a cult/meme following on the national level by occasionally knocking off a Clemson and having goofy remarks in the press.
Under the spotlight trying to land 5* recruits and be nationally relevant, it doesn't play as well.

Michigan is about the only place that will let his behavior fly long term. They would keep him forever if they could.

I see the Harbaugh/Spanos clash happening in LA sooner than he got into it with the uppers in San Francisco.

... only as long as he wins.
They were ready to be rid of him and actively wanted to part ways sending him to the NFL after 2019.
Then he started cheating. Can he keep the momentum without Stalions? Roster management isn't looking good right now.
