SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Isn't he primarily a zone running guy? Those teams often take a RB-by-committee approach until somebody distinguishes themselves. Throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks... since the scheme is all about the OLine you can reliably get away with that approach.
Need good linemen though... and not seeing it, at least not for 2015 at this rate.

They don't have good QBs, RBs, WRs or OL; maybe Harbaugh has decided to focus on one position group per recruiting class.

Didn't think so.

Interesting trivia....

Harbaugh, Meyer born at same place

As we watch the beginning of the Jim Harbaugh era (part 2?) at Michigan, we came across a couple of interesting nuggets Monday night.

WTVG-TV in Toledo highlighted that Harbaugh was born in Toledo when his parents were living in Perrysburg, Ohio, as his father, Jack, was beginning his long coaching career.

Jim was born at the old Mercy Hospital a week ago today in 1963.

Harbaugh's new chief rival -- Ohio State coach Urban Meyer -- came into the world at the exact same place just six months later.

Bo has a way with words there.

I'm sure "bronze Woody" could out coach "bronze Bo".

Getting his QB was the most important thing as what was on campus was mediocre at best. But did he get his guy?
The rest of the roster is decent, especially on defense.

But of course Harbaugh has most of the media and the blind and idiotic ScUM fan base thinking he's a genius. I've heard from countless "analysts" and fans that Harbaugh is just a winner and had so much success at Stanford and San Fran that he'll automatically make scUM relevant and a contender by year 2... Yeah, I can't wait until the wheels fall off. I think he'll be at scUM for 4-5yrs max and then bolt back to the NFL. Hell have some 8+ win seasons because he can beat some bottom feeders in the Big 10, but I don't see scUM getting to a playoff, Harbaugh won't get lucky(pun intended) with another Andrew Luck type

It's interesting because Hoke recruited with the best of them but the wheels fell off when it came to player development and game day. I don't doubt Harbaugh is a great motivator (for the limited amount of people his antics appeal to) and a competent game day manager, but so far his recruiting has been laughable. That team up north just can't seem to have both.

If he's looking to drum up attention to scUM, he's doing just that. But it's not relating to the recruiting, and he doesn't have enough talent to win the division let alone the conference. And I wonder if his camps are even attracting the talent that would go to top tier SEC schools. That's cool to go to Prattville and Tampa and etc, but if he's getting the 2 star LB and not the 4 or 5 star that Alabama, Auburn, etc are After, what is it really doing? If Nate Craig Meyers doesn't pay attention to the camp but his 3star DT teammate gets interested, than does that make much sense?

I'm sure he is a great motivator-to those who respond to his message. For those of you who know more about this than I do, how would you rank their roster?

I have a hard time believing he will come in and be able to out coach the Pat Fitzgeralds and Mike Rileys of the world with that roster.

Well, it's completely devoid of talent at QB.

You can start with that.
