Let's also bring up that the violation was contact with recruits during COVID, the same very school that used COVID as an excuse to not get embarrassed by us on the field that year. The reasons to hate this team and Harbawl literally couldn't stack up any quicker.

They are sending a message. 4 games isn't going to do it and getting out in front of the PR by debunking the cheeseburger straw man. He lied to the NCAA investigators about whatever the hell he actually did (recruited during COVID for one).

This is their swan song year, he's going to be gone this off season. No way he sticks around for the punishment and the public disclosure of him lying to the NCAA about it.

The funny part is that we are finally going to see how much, if any, real interest he has from NFL teams.

I hope the NCAA has a semblance of a backbone here like when they treated Tatgate like the fucking Nuremberg Trial. I have my doubts that happens, but I hope it does.

To double down on that sentiment, make the death sentence carry over to the NFL like they did Tressel (and unlike Cheat Carrol). Otherwise the NCAA doesn't have even the baby teeth they are in a fledgling struggle to retain.

To your last point, I think if he does get booted or leaves ttun, I'm pretty sure the NFL interest will be extremely low after the SF debacle. There would need to be a desperate team looking to make a splash hire... don't get me wrong, there are several teams that fit the description. But where he lands will be telling.

Tategate and Cheeseburger gate are very different. It's comparing apples to oranges. It's like the court system where different sentences can be handed out for the same offense depending on the judge, defendant, the state, etc.

They aren't going to drop the hammer on Michigan. Increase the suspension to more games and that is probably it.

I'm pretty sure that was the NFL who did that. Or maybe it was Tressel and the Colts, themselves. I know the NCAA didn't have the balls to even suggest it.

I get the feeling that he's trying to be picky about where he goes. If he decides to be less picky, he'll get a job. It might be a booftastic job. I hope he gets rejected and has to go back to *ichigan. That would make me laugh.

He resigns from tsun first in protest of the "unfair witch hunt" (especially if the admin starts to throw him under the bus to avoid LOIC), starts angling for the NFL, doesn't get an offer and goes off humiliated and in disgrace to look for his fucking baseball.
