SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Am just very amused watching fans try to rationalize he didn't lie to their fucking gface when he said he wouldn't do this again next year last year. Even if he comes back the myth of Harbaugh being too honest for his own good is broken.
The mental pretzel some of them are twisting themselves into is something else. Every excuse imaginable has been floated.

I'll be totally honest - I can totally get why he might be frustrated with the college game, outside of his current NCAA issues. scUM has been slow to embrace NIL and with that, it's now even less of a level playing field than it's ever been before. From a simple performance perspective, I think it's pretty clear ttun has hit their ceiling. And that's not to say playoffs are a bad ceiling, but if he wants to win rings, I do not see that happening for him in Ann arbor (whore). He's had two runs at it and in the first, he was thoroughly outclassed by an SEC powerhouse, in the second he managed to be out coached by Sonny freakin' Dykes and lost to (arguably) the worst playoff participant in the nine years of the CFP.

For him looking at NFL jobs, his logic is sound. But he definitively said it wasn't going to happen again after last year's fiasco, he's doing the same shit eleven months later, and large portions of the DFBIA are defending him. Guess what? If he doesn't get a job this time, he'll be right back in this same spot next January. Good luck with that. Their best hope is for him to get an NFL job, hire somebody internally as interim, and spend the next 11+ months looking for the next guy.

My favorite mental gymnastic from last year were the claims that he was never really considering leaving because no one offered him a job. This was actually common sentiment fro DFBIA. Nevermind he fucking went and interviewed with the Vikings. They just ignore that

Imagine interviewing for another company and your boss finding out and getting mad about it. Then explaining it as “oh I didn’t get offered the job so I was just playing around and never really considering it”

Aside from everything this says about this douchebag, it says even more about the state of TTUN and the AD.

There is a constant a cloud of drama around this f*ck. It's always been something ever since he's been there. What's truly pathetic is that the school and the AD seem utterly unwilling to kick his ass out the door.

What a cesspool. Nothing we didn't know, already, though.

It's just stomach-turning to see it all kind of bubble over like a backed up septic tank.

Any dysfunction in AA is only stomach-turning to me because of what’s happened in the last 2 versions of The Game.

Blake Corum details conversation with Jim Harbaugh this morning
Corum spoke with Michigan’s head coach hours ago.

Part of Corum’s conversation with Eisen included the fact he spoke Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh this morning. Harbaugh was pleased with the news Corum will be coming back to Ann Arbor.

“I talked to him this morning,” Corum said. “He was ecstatic, he was happy. And so that might be some good news, we shall see. But he was happy, we had a great conversation. I did inform him, I wanted to let him know before I let the world know.”

In the midst of players such as Corum announcing his return and other players such as Mike Morris and Luke Schoonmaker declaring for the NFL Draft is buzz that Harbaugh will be interviewing virtually with the Denver Broncos this week and that other NFL teams such as the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals may be interested in his services.

“I kind of avoided that question because I want him to do what’s best for him. I avoided that question,” Corum said. “I told him I support him in whatever he does, 'cause that’s how I really feel. I support coach with whatever decision he makes.”

Whether Harbaugh ultimately interviews with the Broncos or any other NFL team remains to be seen. Today is Black Monday and there are likely more NFL head coaches to get fired. This is a fluid situation, and one that Michigan could quell by giving Harbaugh a fat new contract.

Broncos plan to interview Jim Harbaugh this week; could new big-money extension keep him at Michigan?

Amidst recent reports of NFL interest, Harbaugh released a statement on Thursday saying in part: "As I stated in December, while no one knows what the future holds, I expect that I will be enthusiastically coaching Michigan in 2023."

The powers that be at Michigan could help make that a reality by offering Harbaugh a contract that makes him one of the highest-paid coaches in college football and gives him a long-term commitment. Harbaugh could end up being Michigan's longest-tenured coach since Bo Schembechler and he loves his alma mater.

Question: What AD in their right mind would throw more money at a coach who really doesn't want to be there?

Answer: Well, there is only one that I can think of. He's done it once already (last February) and may not have learned his lesson....
