Was thinking about recent ND success.

After RR like disaster of Willingham, then a Hoke-ish Weis, they hired Kelly.

He was basically 8-5 for 5 years except for a 12-1 year.

Year 7 they went 4-8.

Last 3 years have been great.

Maybe things take longer than we believe to turn around.

I'd argue they're lower now than when Hoke was fired. Yeah, they were a mess, but they had to think things could only get better from there. Now, they're absolutely broken because their "chosen one", the guy they coveted for a decade, has failed them and I'd also argue the state of their program is worse right now than it was before Simple Jim was hired. From my perspective, they're at an all time low. And I fucking love every bleeding second of it.

Go back and watch some of those Cooper games. I swear he tried to lose many of the games we won by his lousy game day coaching. For example that Louisville game from 92, the 93 Holiday Bowl or the 97 Rose Bowl. On second thought, don't watch them. Lets just forget that era ever happened.
