I hadn’t thought about their yearly booster funded vacations in awhile. I really appreciate how that managed to simultaneously be SEC style impermissible benefits while also being a complete failure on multiple fronts. On top of just flat out failing to attract top recruits, it also managed to preload the country club culture problems in any kid who somehow found that trip to be persuasive.
Maybe just funnel straight cash payments through a local church the next time you want your boosters to blatantly provide benefits to the players that aren’t available to the rest of the student body.

Lots of CTE talk on that thread. It’s a convenient way for them all to say they weren’t wrong on their assessments when they hired him, because CTE has magically ruined him since then.
