I say this season has been a huge success no matter what happens today. We've played with a backup QB all year and now a 3rd string QB. We've won the B1G championship and are in the playoffs. No matter what ESPN tries to tell you this season has been a huge success.

Bingo. There are four teams that have earned the right to play for a NC. The season is a huge success for each of the four, as every single other team in the country (particularly those with losing records) would trade places with each of those four teams.

OK, so you're ignoring OSU's many BCS bowl wins in the 2000s. Way more than scUM had (or even played for, for that matter).

This was in reference to our bowl record vs. SEC teams only, the original poster said we were 0-10 vs. the SEC in bowl games, @greyscarlet said we beat Arkansas (obviously that game has been rescinded due to NCAA violations, it technically doesn't count). So I simply responded w/a sarcastic answer, attempting to show that 1-9 isn't much better than 0-10. It was a joke.

Had nothing to do w/us beating the likes of Notre Dame, Oregon, etc. in our various other BCS bowls vs. non-SEC opponents in the 2000's.

Dude, I'm a Buckeye fan, im on your side. I wasn't trying to support any troll, or at least not on purpose. I'm confused by your comments towards what I said, maybe their is a longer string of comments I need to read to fully understand.

How any staff members would be retained (aside from Mattison) is beyond me, but I can't say I'm disappointed.

Im hoping they keep manning he's a good LB coach and really good recruiter. I have no idea why he was coaching the DBs last year but he was. I think it's time for Fred Jack to go. Wheatley will come as long as it's not just RB coach, he has to have another title too. That would be a nice pick up.
