Has any B1G coach, in the modern era, won 24 straight conference games? It's just a silly award, but it's gonna be absurd that four other coaches will have won B1G COY while one guy that hasn't won it wins 32 straight conference games and two conference titles.

Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin was asked Wednesday what he thought about his former coach at Stanford, Jim Harbaugh, leaving the San Francisco 49ers to become the head coach at Michigan.



"I wish him the best of luck," Baldwin said. "He's anxious to get that program turned around and do some great things at Michigan. I wish him the best."

Then Baldwin had one more little comment: "And go Buckeyes."

don't they usually give it to a coach who did more with less? How many did Tressel win? Guys like Phil Jackson didn't win it every year because they have/had teams with the best talent. Which would Urb rather win, the B1G championship or the B1G COY? I'm sure he'll take the tradeoff.

Tressel didn't win one -- even when he won a national championship. Meyer took over a 6-7 team and went 12-0 and didn't win it. The award is a fucking joke. Period.

24 big ten games in a row means diddle if you don't win today. OSU has to win today. Michigan has been horrible last 7 years, minus 2011. MSU has been the only team to challenge OSU, and they got killed them this year.
0-10 vs the sec in bowl games. OSU has to have this win today, and I am pulling for them. If OSU loses, none of what they did before will matter. As they said in money ball, if you lose the last game of the year, nobody gives a shit.

I say this season has been a huge success no matter what happens today. We've played with a backup QB all year and now a 3rd string QB. We've won the B1G championship and are in the playoffs. No matter what ESPN tries to tell you this season has been a huge success.

That's easy for you to say when you don't have your 3rd string QB out there. This season was a massive success even with a loss. The only loss I'll give you that would make the season look worse is a blowout loss since that would have to be on more than Cardale.

Yeah, if OSU loses today, the Buckeyes' 2014 season is comparable to Michigan's. :roll1: In related news, Michigan's run to the Final Four and championship game in basketball a few years ago "mean[t] diddle" because Louisville beat them in the title game.
