Well to be fair, his history of assault was his face assaulting Jim Kellys fist.

Other way around. Harbaugh didn't like some of Kelly's comments and attacked and sucker-punched him after a game. Harbaugh broke his throwing hand. There's always been a dark, psychotic edge right underneath the "crazy intense" facade. I, for one, am eagerly awaiting its glorious eruption.
