Shoelace and the Heisman - where's Denard finish?

I really don't care whether he would came out or not, there is no need call college kids names regardless of what school they attend.

Regardless of what name you want to call him, TSUN fans have been throwing laurels at the guy all year. He's fast. He has some good moves. But, he looks a lot better against the Sisters of the Poor than he does against real defenses, like Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Please feel free to call it whatever you like, but he quit. And, a quarterback at a major football power playing in the biggest rivalry in all of sports--a player who has the chance to be part of that--shouldn't ever quit.

Perhaps I am wrong to think so, but I think he embarrassed himself, your coach, and your team.

If you can lift your non throwing arm to show your hand to the coach, you are ok to play. To me this is a sign that not only does Rich Rod not understand the rivalry, but neither do his players.

I think it's fairly accurate. He just walked over to the coach pointed at his hand and tapped out of the biggest game of his career.

That's the beauty of the situation and let's hope they never change.

Why are you saying "he's a college kid" like he's 5 years old. College kids are adult enough to be called "pussy" when they sub themselves out because their non-throwing hand is hurt in the biggest game of their lives.

he's a true sophmore. my reasoning is that he'll be bigger next year. Another year in the system as the starter with improved mechanics and ability to read defenses. Quicker decision making abilities and an improved backfield to take some of the pressure off of him.

This of course is in my IMO.....

All that could be true, but will he be any more durable? He's not a Timex watch (i.e. takes a licking and keeps on ticking). No matter who he is playing; after he makes a linebacker look bad on 4 or 5 consecutive plays, the next play the linebacker gets "a good shot at him" he's going to take it. That's how the game is played.

Cpl Jason Dunham was 22 years old when he used his body to shield his fellow Marines from a grenade blast.

Denard Robinson is 20.

Army Specialist Ross McGinnis was 19 when he gave his life in the same manner as Cpl Dunham.

I know i am in the minority here, but calling the kid a pussy does go a bit overboard. RR has put that kid through physical hell this year by running him into the ground. I think Denard tapping out was basically telling RR "Fuck you buddy, I am hurt and I don't want to get killed today. I'm out."

At least that is the way I see it.
