Shoelace and the Heisman - where's Denard finish?

If he has similar numbers and they start off well - he could generate alot of buzz.

So what? He did that this year during the first half of the season, and the second half turned into an epic FAIL. No reason to assume that he'll be able to take the lumps next year that he couldn't take this year, IMO.

If you can lift your non throwing arm to show your hand to the coach, you are ok to play. To me this is a sign that not only does Rich Rod not understand the rivalry, but neither do his players.

I mean, you're absolutely right. I was mostly speculating that the UM schedule looks easier next year than this year. No Penn State, No Wisconsin, a weaker Iowa.

Assuming they get marginal (or better) improvement from the defense he could get more opportunities to score and further improve his stats.

You're point remains key. He's got to win the big games and they probably have to somehow make it to a BCS game in order for him to be considered.

what would you call it?

If his fingers were dislocated, wouldn't the training staff have at least taped them up? No lets just throw a glove on it...that should do the trick. He must have had the same injury as the Cal d-lineman against Oregon.

I guess I just don't take part in berating college kids.
So, from another thread, in a discussion about what a piss-poor team DickRod will put on the field, you said

When the hell did this happen? haha, let's just send the band kids.
So you tell the whole world the team hitting the field isn't as good at football as the band is. Wonder how nasty you could be if you would berate those college kids? :wink2:

That is actually a discussion about all of the injurys that occured during the previous game against Wisconsin, but believe what you want. Big difference in pointing out how injured my team is and calling a college kid a p***y.

Let me ask you this...if the game is 24-22 at that point and he had 250 yards of offense, you think he would have come out?

Dude, 'pussy' is not the preferred nomenclature. 'Vagina', please.
