Agreed. I think the head coaching job at Tejas is like being the greens keeper at a high end country club. You have a thousand bosses who are all assholes and you can never satisfy any of them.

They sad.
Bevo is sick and can't make the trip for the OU game.
You would think so, but it is ChokelahomaTexas gonna get their asses handed to them again this week. Probably not as bad as TCU, but it'll be bad...And funny as fuck.
Texas and Ohio State have been very similar over the years. Both programs did well in the early years but failed to gain a lot of national recognition. Then in the 1950s, each program hired its "Mount Rushmore" coach - Darrell Royal for Texas, and Woody Hayes for Ohio State. In the two decades after Royal, Texas had three coaches and five losing seasons; in two decades after Woody, Ohio State had two coaches and only one losing season. Each school then experienced a renaissance, Texas with Mack Brown and Ohio State with Jim Tressel. The big difference is what has happened since Brown and Tressel left their respective programs - Ohio State has risen to new heights with Urban Meyer, while Texas is plumbing new depths with Charlie Strong.I'd say the biggest difference was that our period of mediocrity was roughly a dozen years. I'd say it started when the 1980 pre-season #1 team went 9-3 and ended with Cooper's 1993 team. Yes, Cooper still choked at the end of the year after that, but the program was contending for national championships. The difference with Texas is that it's their period of relevance in the last 40 years has been less than ten years. Other than Mack's run, it's been a few singular seasons surrounded by year-after-year of mediocrity and a trail of fired coaches.

You would think so, and it does seem likely. But sometimes, Stoops gonna Stoops. One game that Oklahoma comes ready for is the Red River rivalry, especially since they've owned UT 4 of 5yrs. I went to the game in 2012, and couldn't stop laughing as UT fans left in droves by halftime. I sat there the whole game laughing and in awe of a 1/3 empty Cotton bowl. It looked like a HS game. I don't see how Strong keeps the game competitive, especially since this team doesn't seem to have much fight in them regardless of a rivalry game. That TCU team took their and stomped on it and UT did nothing. I think Perine runs all over this defenseYou would think so, but it is Chokelahoma
Possible, but OU is more of an "air raid" offense now. More likely that they throw for like 500 yards on them. The only thing that keeps me from really thinking "Big Game" Bob blows this game is what a smoldering tire fire the tejas defense is. It is historically bad at this point. One game that Oklahoma comes ready for is the Red River rivalry, especially since they've owned UT 4 of 5yrs. That would be even better.
Give them that tiny glimmer of hope each year, just enough to keep things dragging along right where they are.
True, But i think OU calls the dogs off by halftime forcing them to run Perine and Mixon. Like you said, this is already a terrible defense so this could get out of hand pretty quicklyPossible, but OU is more of an "air raid" offense now.
