SG Jon Diebler (2nd-Most Big Ten career 3-Pointers, Butler Recruiting Director)

With regard to the Lavin, what an idiot, comment that they couldn't mention his name that was pretty stupid because they showed Eric Gordon's picture when promoting the game that is good to be on ESPN2 this evening.

burson was what 5ft 9inches 140 lbs soaking wet, nba i doubt it. heckuva college player but not nba material.

The guy was a guaranteed NBA draft pick that year until he broke his neck.

The guy was a state level high jumper and could dunk a basketball. Why he never did in a Buckeye game, I have no idea.

I wonder how many points he would have scored in HS had there been a 3 point line.

I was thinking the same thing. All night they talked about Gordon going to Illnois, but could not mention the Ohio State junior recruit who scored 77 points(Diebler).

This past weekend, I had an opportunity to watch Diebler go up against my high school and I was really impressed.....

Diebler scored 30 points and had around 10 rebounds, 5-6 blocks in just 2 1/2 quarters. He showed the ability to hit from deep and take his man off the dribble. Just a very talented player and he has another year! Jon could have scored 60 points if he wanted to but he is a very unselfish player.

If anyone gets a chance to see him play, I would say do it.

when i saw him the last year in the state final four he was kind of a stand around jump shooter. granted he had his brother, who freed him up a lot. he was only a sophomore, i plan on seeing him again in march...

He shows average quickness and he does need to get stronger, but he is only a junior and I would expect him to improve tremendously over the summer in these areas, right now I would say he needs to work on his strength in order to handle the Big Ten. I have no doubts he will be an impact player in the Big Ten down the road, the kid is such a great shooter.

I was just curious how far away from big ten stregth he was.
