I am not betting on KK getting some consistency.......I see Lighty or Diebler taking that step.

Well if we could consistently get a 3rd scorer, and it doesn't have to be Diebler every night or Lighty every night...Just one of these guys or even Hutner to score a big number on a given night I think that will help...

I think they really need to get the ball to Hunter more. He has a nice little jump shot from around 10' and if he could score around 12 points per game with another guy that would help a great deal. I think Lighty leased to become more aggressive in taking the ball to the basket rather than settling on jump shots from three-point land. However, after saying all of that, I would really like J. D. to become the third scorer.

I have no specific favorite. Let's hope everyone can step it up a knotch.

Seems to me like Lighty is taking the ball to the hole more and more, just not finishing. His little floater is not quite there yet, it hits inside the rim and bounces out. Hopefully he'll get there this year, I really think he is close to being a good consistent scorer, a little better on the 3' and a little softer on the floater and he'll be a double figure scorer who'll put pressure on the defense while taking it off Butler.

I'm surprised no one has posted in this thread since last nights game. He played a great overall game. Solid Defense, rebounding, and took what the defense gave him on the offensive end.

To me it seemed like the reason he saw more PT was due to his high energy on the defensive end of the court.

I couldn't type fast enough:) I think he played his best all-around game last night. It was better than the performance against UNC because he rebounded, shot well, played excellent defense, and as Junkie mentioned he took some guys off the dribble. He just seemed to have more lift in his shot last night and hopefully this will be a game changing performance.

Jon's defense fueled his offense. He had a great motor all night, and he established his offensive rhythm through his defense. Really good to see Diebler picking up Turner, much like Turner has done for Jon this year. I like the Combo, I just wish they both turned it on at the same time. How good could the Buckeyes be then??!!

I couldn't disagree more. What fueled his offense is that he finally hit a J.

Diebler's defense has been good pretty much all season, given his quickness limitations (nothing to be done about that, really) even when he couldn't hit the ocean from the beach.

do you think he really has a quickness limitation? or is it that hes white? i dont seem to see a guy who has his feet nailed to the floor or has an anchor in tow.

i also disagree with he couldnt hit the beach from the ocean, a better analogy might be like being oh say, youre 16 youre so close, you just cant get it to go in...
