And you would replace him with...
I'll be the first to admit Coach Matta knows [quantum step] more about hoop than I do. But so far, Evan Turner looks a lot better to me than Diebler. Better length, better on-ball D, better handle, fewer turnovers. The only thing you lose is the outside threat, and Diebler is more bite than bark in that category so far.

I believe the you meant more bark than bite, meaning the threat of his three point shooting has been much greater than his actual production so far. On this point I would agree, but would point out that he has a very loud bark.

I will give you better length (although not by very much) and on-ball D. While Turner can dribble the ball effectively, he is very prone to traveling, which is where I disagree with you on turnovers. I don't know the actual numbers, but it has just seemed to me that Turner's turnovers have been worse than Dieblers this year. And I still remain hopeful he will begin to light it up from outside, hopefully as soon as tonight.

While I agree that Diebs has clearly struggled for most of the year, there is obviously a reason that the coaches keep him in the lineup. I think if we are to be as good as what we all hoped we could be that Diebs has to play well, and maybe his confidence would take a hit if he is benched. Beyond his poor shooting, he does bring other things to the table.

Also remember that JBut really struggled early on as a Frosh and now he is the career 3pt man at tOSU.

Go Diebs.

Talked to a North Carolina fan about our team. He said Diebs is gonna be a super star and one of the best freshman in the country.
I am a Diebler fan and hope he will eventually break out of his shooting woes but what was this North Carolina basing his comments on. Diebler's high school career?Or was this:biggrin:Sarcasm?

Player who also struggled early on as a Frosh...Brayden Bell and now he is the 8th man for Utah State.
