Are you guys suggesting that networks with financial ties to certain conferences promote the brands of those conferences in a different manner than conferences in which they have no financial interest?

I have been told many times that is just crazy conspiracy talk and am now very confused.

Yes, but financial interest only play a very small part. SHEESH! It’s not like those networks (with a small financial interest mind you) have some type of exclusive broadcast/programming rights to any particularly important games, like say Division 1 college football playoff games.

Come on guys, it’s really not a big deal.
