Last weekend, Florida hosted nearly 25 recruits on official visits, USC had a much smaller yet impressive contingent, and many other schools around the nation had prospects all over campus.

It won't be as crazy this weekend, but the nation's top offensive lineman--Cretin-Derham (St. Paul, Minn.) OT Seantrel Henderson--will be at USC to check out the Trojans. This will be the third official visit for Henderson, who has also checked out Ohio State and Notre Dame. He recently checked out Iowa's campus, and lives just moments from the Minnesota campus. Florida and Oklahoma are also still in the mix.

The school that lands the 6-foot-8, 300-pound tackle will have one of the most impressive-looking line prospects to ever come out of the high school ranks. He is the No. 3 overall prospect in the Sporting News Top 100.

"I believe I have good footwork," Henderson told SN. "I'm quick off the ball. I'm better as a pass protector than at run blocking. I'm good with my hands. They teach us really well here, and my coaches have come through the NFL so they pretty much know a lot about pass protection. I might be ahead of the other guys around the country when it comes to that."

Notre Dame football: ND program won't fall far

The way Tom Lemming sees it, Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick's coaching search doesn't have to end with a superstar hire.

Seantrel Henderson, OT, St. Paul, Minn. Notre Dame remains in play with the nation's top player. He had a great October visit for the USC game, and he's a former teammate of Irish wide receiver Michael Floyd. Those two factors are working in ND's favor.

Lemming believes the new staff needs to get Henderson down to South Bend for an unofficial visit.

Watching the SC-Arizona game, the announcers said it feels like an exhibition game type atmosphere.

Also, it's cloudy and SC is playing like crap so far. I hope they lose and finish in 6TH PLACE in the Pac 10.
