Seantrel Henderson (Buffalo Bills)

I read over and over.. Seantrel's father is a man of impeccable integrity... folks like that have an acute sense when they are dealing with folks that share that integrity level... or not...

Any doubt in your mind JT and his father saw each other at that tier... I'm counting on it

New Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly brought along a No. 77 jersey for his Minneapolis home recruiting visit to Cretin-Derham Hall offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson the other day. But it still appears Henderson, who wore No. 77 for the Raiders, will end up at Ohio State with coach Jim Tressel, who also visited last week.

Tressel's brother, Buckeyes assistant coach Dick Tressel, will visit Henderson again this week, as will new USC coach Lane Kiffin and coaches from Miami and Florida.

The Gophers, by the way, have a No. 77 jersey hanging outside their football offices.

As I recollect, OSU had a jersy with "Miller" and Dee's HS number on the back. Didn't give it to him (secondary violation), but had it to show him. Very effective, and could have helped clinch the deal. That's old news, and everybody has done the same thing, I'm certain.

Still believe that Seantrel will see the wisdom of the vest, the solidity of OSU football, and the continuance of the tradition, plus the vis of TV, and the high potential of another BCS championship game, of which he could be a starter. No one has opined whether TP is staying for senior year or bolting for the NFL. If he wins the Heisman, and OSU wins the national championship, and/or Braxton throws his hat in the OSU ring, there is continuity of the QB position. The defense will always be great, so his future would be bright in scarlet & gray. Seantrel, come on down!

Prelude to signing day

USC could catch Florida if new coach Lane Kiffin successfully woos offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson of St. Paul, Minn., the nation's top-rated prospect, and Lache Seastrunk, one of the nation's two best running backs.

Henderson, who is considering USC, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Minnesota, will announce his decision on signing day on CBS College Sports.

In the Midwest, nearly everybody is unhappy. For example, Ohio State has recruited a decent class but no super stars. If coach Jim Tressel lands Henderson, however, all will be forgiven.

If that is the case and Seantrel's dad does have significant pull in his son's decision then I don't know how he ends up playing for a "professional liar" like Lane Kiffin. JT on the other hand....class act all the way.

St. Paul, Minn., Cretin-Derham Hall offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson is the guy everyone wants but only one team can have. I?ve heard about him secretly being a Gator lean and that Florida has a great chance of snagging him. While I agree Florida has a chance, I think Meyer?s situation really stunned Henderson and turned him away a bit. Ohio State really sticks in my mind when I think about where he could really end up.

Is it me or does GatorSports say everyone is a "secret" lean or commit to the Gators.... everything I read is like.... "word is this 5 star is a secret commit to the gators.... but some say he may go elsewhere"

It's the Urban Meyer "God Whisperer" effect.
