Lee is due a lot of money for a specialist. This actually makes sense. One of the few things they did that does.

Just thought that this commercial was cool:
He received these rings after the San Francisco 49ers won Super Bowl XVI in 1982, against the Cincinnati Bengals; Super Bowl XIX in 1985, against the Miami Dolphins; Super Bowl XXIII in 1989, against the Cincinnati Bengals; and Super Bowl XXIV in 1990, against the Denver Broncos.
As a side note: Just one NFL player has five Super Bowl rings. It’s Charles Haley. The linebacker/defensive end won two with Joe Montana and the San Francisco 49ers in the late 1980’s and then three more with Troy Aikman and the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990’s.

It's been well-documented that former head coach Jim Harbaugh and San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York butted heads.
The two sides have denied any tension, but there have been enough rumors to make it seem like something likely happened. Today we got a report that claims the two sides absolutely had their differences and Harbaugh even called out York in a team meeting.

First preseason game tomorrow. I'll be watching with zero expectations. If I was forced to make a prediction right now on the season, I'd say 5-11 at best. If Kaepernick actually learned a thing or two from Kurt Warner and can apply that towards being more than a freak athlete with a laser arm firing errant rockets while under extreme duress, they might be able to get to 8-8 again...but I ain't holding my breath.
I might cry a little when they don those horrific black alt-unis. I was overjoyed when they eliminated the black trim and went back to the old school uniforms back in 2009. If they start phasing it back in, I'ma be pissed. Don't mess with Scarlet & Gold perfection. They're my favorite uniforms in the NFL. The uni's they wore from 94-08 with the black trim/stripes and awful back-shaded numbers were some of the worst in the league, IMO. If the team's gonna suck, at least let them look nice.
