I think the coaches would really be foolish to not bring in McGuffie if he wanted to come here. Bring him in as an athlete and see how things play out. He's a kind of talent I don't think anyone can refuse.

Let's get one thing straight. Our coaches are anything but foolish. They know who they want to fit the system, and they will go all out to get them. If they haven't offered someone, there is a reason for it. Don't underestimate our coaches' intelligence.

I would take them both. It seems to me like we are going to switch to a more wide open offense when Mallett is our QB with all the receviers we offered and all the RB's we have offered our speed backs with the exception of Darrell Scott, but who wouldn't offer him.

By BK...on the heels of the Shugarts commitment, Sam talks about his interest in OSU. He favors Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Florida, USC, Texas A&M and Notre Dame (all offered except LSU and OSU).

Likely a function of Torrence...I would imagine the staff won't bend to Torrence's will, but they would certainly honor their commitment to him and are unlikley to offer without his buy in, IMO.

i think the staff jb and mcguffie can all work together and convince torrence that he is safe. have him just come up to camp, work him out exclusively at wr, hopefully he impresses. on top of that if saine is used in the passing game a lot u can deffinately make the argument that devoe would have beanie's role and mcguffie would have saine's role

They are done recruiting at this position, it seems unlikely he will get a scholarship offer unless it is as an "athlete" at this point of the recruiting process.
