McGuffie & Shugarts are friends, and have talked about playing together in college (OU & UM were the most likely options in that scenario). Now that Shugarts is a buckeye, (not surprisingly) JB is trying to bring McGuffie in too.

Whether OSU has similar plans is yet to be seen, with RB & WR already addressed. Sam could be brought in as an ATH, but numbers are awfully tight.

Maybe bring him into camp and work him out with the DBs. I'd like at least one DB this year(I'm sure Tressel feels the same knowing his infatuation with speed prospects), and if McGuffie proves himself at the position, I'm sure we'd love to have him.

I think the coaches would really be foolish to not bring in McGuffie if he wanted to come here. Bring him in as an athlete and see how things play out. He's a kind of talent I don't think anyone can refuse.

I think you make a WR out of him. With that speed and wiggle, he is dangerous in space.
Just watched his videos and he is just fun to watch.

His best asset may be his vision!

with limited number of schollies, this might be one of those years where we should "over sign" by one or 2. Especially since a lot of these kids are wanting to commit early, and apparently wanting to come to tOSU. If McGuffie wants to come here, we gotta make room for him. Even if it meant one of those senior walkons not getting a schollie. I love that Tress does that for those guys, but not everyone of them can get a scholly.
