S Vonn Bell (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

It's hard for anyone to say here. He literally says nothing. But yeah, if I'm a Bama fan, I'd feel pretty good about their chances seeing how he has been visiting there and not here for gamedays.

I'm not sure where that fits in the Tealeaves of Recruiting, but probably strong indicator where he is going. Shame too because I bet he's an All American at Alabama.

Visiting Bama is a lot different then visiting OSU. At Bama he can make the trip there and back in one day, maybe staying overnight at a hotel if he really wants.

For him to come to OSU it is at least two days, if not more.

Big difference IMO.

IIRC, Mr Bell's decision is based exclusively on answers the leading teams submitted to his questions. Taken at shear face value, visits are not an indicator. (Except the my answer does not really feel very good to me.)

I finally found the list of questions:
http://www.thebuckeyebattlecry.com/2012/08/ohio-state-recruiting-vonn-bell/

1. Education related to becoming a coach. (JT used to teach that class. Overall, I would put tOSU academics way above the university of Alabama.)

2. Education ... what if Mr Bell got off track? (UFM has good graduation rates and GPAs.)

3. Immediate playing time. (Johnson graduates, and Bryant and Barnett graduate next year. Plus of course special teams.)

The immediate pt question alone favors us. Alabama has just 3 dbs graduating and 1 was a starter. There is a lot of young talent in bamas defensive backfield. Bell could easily get starting time with the bucks. Next year Alabama could start underclassmen at all db positions and be fine with all high end 4 and 5 star talent
