Every time I see Jermale's thread up at the top of the forum with an update I get so excited to open up that bad boy and see that he now has that OSU offer. I'll keep waiting...

if/when that happens, you will see the words OFFICIAL OFFER in this thread title...

Film.

My Take: Jer'Male changes direction very well and his lateral movement is exceptional. He shows his versatility by playing LB, S, and QB in the films. However, the film just does not jump out at me and I will stick with my earlier prediction of no offer.

Glenville 'pipeline' to Michigan?

Would the faithful readers please correct me? But I seem to remember that Pierre Woods (of Glenville) was mistreated and 'left out' of Michigan's plans and the playing field. I'm kinda confused why he would like Michigan after all of that.

I remember Tressel shaking his head about it, and also that Ted Ginn Sr. said that Michigan was not welcome at Glenville.

Am I hallucinating, or simply subliminating a hope that we get the best Glenville kids without Michigan intervention?

If MIchigan is best for this kid, then more power to him. I would want OSU to get the kids that WANT to be at OSU.........

Listen...if OSU comes through with an offer, Hines is a Buckeye. If OSU doesn't offer, can you blame the kid for wanting to play for a national power like Michigan after being courted by them for nearly a full year and having the opportunity to play under a well respected, young defensive coordinator like Ron English? Me either.

I wouldn't expect Hines to hold the Woods situation against the staff at Michigan anymore than I would expect Solomon Thomas to hold the Chichester situation against the OSU staff (which he isn't).

Pipeline

Ted Ginn Sr is not going to stop a kid from going to Michigan. For that matter Jermale just came to Cleveland last year from the South. Kind of surprised he didn't look at going back south.

Be nice to get him since the two brothers look good too.

Well don't count Hines out yet...I've heard word both ways and both from reliable people. Just my opinion based on what I've heard but I think that if we miss on some bigger guys that are undecided (Wilson, Berry, etc.), then we offer Hines.

Wad, I'm not naive enough to think that Ginn would 'not allow' a kid to get a schollie just because he doesn't like the coach. Just asking for some history and clarification - if I remember it like it happened.

He doesn't care where his kids go, just that they're happy, and they get a chance at a college education - that's what teachers do. Michigan is a very good school - academically better than OSU - but college is what you make of it.

All the words get around the recruiting circles, kids hear them, bet they check them out, and then make their own decision. Being on the California coast, don't get as much info as would like. that's why the question. If Michigan meets his needs better, then great for him. I didn't realize that he'd be a Buckeye if offered, and I'm sure that the OSU recruiters are cautioning their other 'interested' recruits that they're going to be full, so 'keep your options open'.
