He is known as "Georgia" to his Glenville teammates.
They can now call him "Buckeye" because Jermale Hines, the No. 6-ranked senior in Ohio High Magazine, made his oral commitment to the Ohio State University on Thursday in a decision that proves patience is a virtue.
Hines was offered football scholarships by West Virginia, Louisville, Cincinnati, Syracuse and Kansas and almost every Big Ten school but still waited until his "dream offer" came across the table on Dec. 23.
