Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
With the flurry of commitments, Rutgers now holds the No. 11 2021 class in the country. Rutgers football. Nearly a Top 10 school in recruiting.
That ranking, incidentally, puts them ahead of the likes of Georgia (No. 15), LSU (No. 16), Michigan (No. 17), Oklahoma (No. 19), Florida State (No. 24) and Auburn (No. 25), among others.
That No. 11 ranking also leaves Rutgers with the fifth-ranked football recruiting class In the Big Ten. The other four are No. 1 Ohio State, No. 7 Wisconsin, No. 9 Maryland and No. 10 Iowa.
Just sayin': When all is said and done, Rutgers won't be close to having a top recruiting class (they are all just 3 star recruits); however, Schiano is still doing a pretty good job here.

Im assuming #9 MD is in same boat?
Still, a lot of local talent if they can get some of it to stay home.
Harbaugh's one elite recruiting year was all NJ. Wiscy gets a lot of their RBs from NJ.
MD has occasional studs.
If those 2 schools can keep their 3 and 4 stars home, they're very competitive.

The key point to Schiano and Locks keeping that east coast talent home is that it probably won’t be enough to beat Ohio State, but it will be enough to keep anyone else in the Big Ten East collecting all of it and beating Ohio State. Namely, PSU or UM.

Re: Vedral will be leaving the Nebraska football program as a graduate transfer. He will also have two years of eligibility he can begin using immediately.
Just sayin': He graduates in three years and that is between 2 different schools. I give him a lot of credit for that.

If they are any better than FCS level it only makes them a tougher out and OSU doesn't get the Bama 1 loss mulligan for being in a tough conference.
It's all risk and no reward for OSU.

Frankly, I want them to be dramatically better... Having patsies damages the image of the B1G... I would like everyone to be respectable... even if it's 7-7 with every win outside the conference...
