I guess I don't understand all the bitching about the commentary. USC is as good as they're saying, and they're not going to talk much about any of the other BCS games because they're on Fox.

The talent and the depth of this team reminds me a lot of the 2001 Miami Hurricanes.

I think it is pretty hard to argue that the last couple of years the best of the Big 10 has not been competitive with the top teams in the SEC and Pac 10. The big 10 deserves all the bashing. I face it every day living in SEC country and I hate it, but wtf has any Big 10 team done to destroy the reputation? USC is by far the best team in the country this year.

If USC wanted to be in the title game, they should had beaten Oregon State

its nobodies fault that they arent in the title game but their own...........

I don't know, I don't like this one bit. All it does is just make us look bad even if we have a great year (like we might next year).

What does the Big Ten have to do not to suck so much? Something needs to change.

Disagree with everything, considering the best of the Big 10 (Ohio State, Penn State currently) has not been very competitive against the best of the SEC and Pac 10.

If USC were the best, by far, they'd be in the title game. Oklahoma and Florida have had great years.

You mean like how Florida should've beaten Ole Miss?

To say it's their own fault implies they control the voters. They don't. No one does. USC has as much a claim to a title game berth as anyone, and I hope they complain about it.

The fact that we're in the 21st century and we still don't have a playoff is ridiculous. Anything that might push the issue is fine with me.

All we have to do is beat Texas and win all of our games next year. We do that and the rest of the Big Ten doesn't matter.

Given that we play USC next year, what happened this year won't hvae much bearing next year as long as we beat USC.

I think it's remarkably glib and, frankly, stupid to claim that USC isn't as good as Florida or Oklahoma. The fact of the matter is that all three of those teams lost early, but only USC was held in limbo around #5 until the end of the year. Just because the (subjective) rankings didn't move them up doesn't mean they wouldn't ruin either of those teams.

God only knows why USC fails to show up against Pac 10 dregs. I know this, though: I wouldn't put any team in 1A against them in a big televised game. That's just asking for trouble.
