But seriously, why the fuck can't we have a playoff? USC has a very strong argument to be in the MNC game (at least as strong as Florida), and would easily be favored against any team in the top ten. Cut out the bullshit and get this deal done.

That way, they won't murder more Big Ten teams in the rose bowl. Let some other conference take the lumps for a while.

Since it won't come from ESPN, I'm hoping for SI.

They won't be called out for their commentary because like it or not the Big10 has earned this reputation... SI will be right beside ESPN in praising USC and berating the Big10.
