I'm with ya brother. If scUM would have some sort of positive effect on our SOS, I'd consider rooting for them, but we're already #1 so screw 'em. Plus Mike Hart has done nothing but piss me off, so I'd take some joy from watching his punk ass eat turf.

It's not wrong. I rooted for PSU and am rooting for Wiscy, but I just can't root for TSUN. And I hate USC!! I'm a Browns fan and went to a Ravens-Bengals game last year. I asked if I had to root for anybody. I finally decided to root against the Blackbirds rather than for the Bungles. That's how I feel about this one. Hate'em both, hate scUM more. Plus, I don't want to here them whining if they win how they should have been in the NC game. My dad and I were talking about it the other night, and he said "I only have two favorite teams: OSU and whoever his playing Michigan." It's an old cliche, but that's how my family rolls. I just don't go for the Big 10 rah rah stuff as much as others, I guess.

I will attempt to root for TSUN. I've tried this before in bowl games, and usually switch to their opponent on the first snap.

This year, I might actually be able to pull for them. I think a TSUN win today would make the Nov. 18th victory even more meaningful for tOSU and even more painful for TSUN.

Just a sidenote... excluding ND b/c both teams tore them apart

Success of bowl-team opponents
Michigan: Minnesota and Iowa lost close, but PSU and Wisconsin won close (2-2, but better than anticipated)
USC: ASU and UCLA and Oregon got rolled, Nebraska and Arkansas lost close, Oregon St won close, Cal won big (2-5)

Considering that Nebraska and Arkansas were supposed to be big marquee wins, I think this makes USC look even weaker. (Cal won big -- but don't forget that our Buckeyes haven't played yet either)
The PAC-10 looks very very weak to me -- and USC obviously isn't heads and shoulders above their counterparts this year.
Too bad bidding ended an hour ago. I'd be all in on weasel underdogs.
