All of the desire to play oregon is based on the mistaken belief that the Mark Mays of the world will suddenly think that we are somehow more worthy, if we beat oregon than if we beat oregon state. Either way, we will play the Pac-10 Champion.

You know what I mean. The idea that a win over Oregon is somehow going to get us more respect than a win over Oregon State.

The only thing that the win over Oregon does is show that we beat a team that beat USC. It doesn't really mean anything. I seriously believe that OSU is better right now than USC is. It just sucks that we didn't have it all together on that September evening.

But if we Roll Oregon State than we have another common opponent with Cincy to rub in their face.

I agree. And the thursday night game is no "gimme" for Oregon. They need to have some kind of a run defense.
