I gotta say that I think Guitar Hero 3 really blows. They basically just went out to make it harder, and completely took out the fun factor of the first 2.

Rock band I am impressed with. Very well done, and you can play serious or just goof off and get everyone laughing. We played it New Years Eve here at my place, half of us drunk, and it was an experience. I became designated vocalist :biggrin:

Oh and if you havent seen these......check em out, especialy the guitar hero one.

I still find GH3 to be fun. It is more difficult, I play only on the "hard" level, because expert is near impossible. "One" by Metallica is still impossible on hard (mainly the solo), it does get a bit frustrating.

I still haven't played Rock Band, but that Conan video is hilarious.

I picked up a RockBand fo PS3 and played it with the fam at a late Christmas get-together. I gotta say it was fun as hell. I'm not too good on drums yet, its gonna take some practice. Even on easy mode I strained to hit 75%, I can hit 95% /w guitar on Hard though, which is normal. Singing is much easier, unless you're completely tone deaf. My aunt nailed Bon Jovi's Dead or Alive, we nominated her lead singer for the band :lol: Whole family was participating, even if they didn't have an instrument, pretty funny.

Brought my Rock Band and drums over to my sister's house last night to jam with my nephews. I have no idea why but I could not get my drums to play right. I regularly get over 90% playing any song on HARD at my house but I was getting booed off the stage playing easy. No idea why they wouldn't work right.

Went from drummer to lead singer and had a blast. Great game.

Here's a little bit of info for some people that might want to approach this route. I use a modded xbox 360. There is a way to put your own custom songs on the game. In the long run it makes the game a hell of a lot more fun to be able to play any song you want...JMO

Hey Buck, what kind of TV do you use and what kind does your sister use? It may have been a lag type of issue, I think you can calibrate the game to compensate for it. I was having some problems on my grandparent's tv, I thought it was an LCD, but I guess it was a DLP. Not sure if that would have made a lot of difference, I didn't change it, it wasn't lagging too bad.
