Guitar Hero was always second best once Rockband came out. Rockband is probably declining too. They've made plenty on downloadable content I'm sure, but they'll probably start slowing down since competition is essentially over and the fad is fading.

Time for a CSB (Cool Story Bro)

Driving in the car a few days ago with my 13 year old. I've got Tool in the CD player. Conversation goes like this.

13yo: This is a cool song. I wonder if I can download it on Guitar Hero
Me: Maybe, but I doubt it.
13yo: Can I look for it?
Me: Sure
13yo: What's the name of the song?
Me: Hooker with a Penis
13yo: [blank stare]

CSB

Just downloaded a lot of good Rockband stuff the last week or so, hadn't really touched the game since Rockband 3 came out quite awhile ago. Poison, Billy Joel, and some Ozzy/Black Sabbath were in there. I also redownloaded some previously acquired Queen songs and some new ones...I say previously acquired because most of the older downloads didn't have piano and you end up playing guitar for those parts instead :(

Happiness is waking up at 10am on a Saturday, walking downstairs and seeing your 13 and 9 year old daughters jamming Anthrax's "Indians" on Guitar Hero.

We downloaded a lot of Metallica stuff for my oldest daughter.
