Who can they hire after they throw that idiot out? The Hat will cost too much.

Say it three times so it comes true.

Please not Brian Kelly. Please not Brian Kelly. Please not Brian Kelly.

That's who the idiots should have hired the first time. Glad they didn't. Here's hoping they make the same mistake twice.

Regardless, whoever would come in would have to reshape the roster again. I know Kelly runs a spread based offense, but it seems quite a bit different than DickRod's. This is all a bit premature, but it looks like a long few months ahead for Richie. With his media savvy (:slappy:), this should be immensely fun to watch.

LLLLLLoyd doesn't look so bad now, does he, scUM fans?

"LLLLLLLoyd is not good enough for MICHIGAN. We don't want any more 8-10 win seasons. Coach Rod will have us winning the Big Ten in two years and a National Championship in 3. Let's see Tressel stop his spread offense...BLABLABLABLABLA *smug vulvarine talk* BLABLABLA...."

No chance they hire Kelly. They will go to someone with ties after this fiasco. You must understand the culture to be successful.

The scUM/Rich Rod marriage is like watching some nose in the air blue blood's having to turn the family business over to the red neck trailer trash piece of shit who knocked up their daughter because their only living son is a drooling fucking retard.

Read this sentence over and over folks. Maybe the best sentence written in this thread due to truth, humor, and mental imagery.

It would be a perfect sig line for Son of Whorel.

Well, that goes without saying, since Kelly would want someone that can actually throw a football further than 10 yards. But it's not like a decent-armed system QB is that hard to find until he gets his own recruits in there.

If U-M announced 15 minutes from now that RRod was terminated and they just signed Brian Kelly, two or three disgruntled second-string QBs elsewhere in the country would announce their intention to transfer to U-M before the night is over.

At the very least they'd be able to beat Western Michigan and Toledo. :tongue2:

Agree the next guy will have one hand tied behind his back for a while but we do NOT want that next guy to be Kelly.

Also agree with the anticipated glory we are going to witness with RR under immense pressure. If they struggle with or even, dare I say it, lose to WMU I might have to take a few days off work to veg in front of the computer watching the meltdown.

Absolutely, or maybe just start popping amphetamines so I can stay up without sleep. This could be amzing...simply, wonderfully amazing.

Also, I hope whoever is calling the scUM-WMU game gives Richie the tOSU Alamo Bowl treatment.

This is really sad. Michigan had the bowl streak, winning season streak, etc that went down the drain last year. Michigan football has been clean this whole time and all that will probably come to an end (Most if not all the other major programs have been through scandals). It seems like the players are divided on the coaches and there is alot of turmoil in the locker room that the public doesn't know about.
no, Michigan hadn't been caught yet. there isn't a school in the country that is clean.

I have never seen a fan base reach such a level of grasping for life as the Michigan fans are currently

there are a few (and I mean very few) who see the light

but most of them are just in flat out denial

If UM gets sanctions and RichRod gets fired during/after this season, the program will be in shambles. Not only the sanctions, but the lack of talent they have now. Something like this is not good for recruiting. Keep an eye out for UM verbals who now open up their recruitment. Who would want to take over the program? I don't think Brian Kelly would consider it. An up-and-coming UC program is better than a crumbling UM program. Even if it is in the Big East.
