"If you say something, they're going to say you're a lazy person and don't want to work hard." Didn't they say this about Justin Boren after he transfered?

They are still saying it. According to the weasel lovers, Justin Boren is nothing more than........well:

From the Free Press:

Michigan, which has won more games than any program in college football history, has never been found guilty of major violations in football.

Another RR first.

This was predicted. That RR would push hard and bend the rules. If they don't find similar evidence in recruiting I will be surprised.

You can not say that you have the best S&C guy in the country and find that he cheats and not have something come down on you. Barwis well kept "secret" is that he breaks the rules. It is an advantage over those who follow the rules. It is pay the piper time.

The ONLY way that a training regimen like that does NOT result in severe over-training is if the person undergoing it is on a heavy cycle of anabolic steroids.

I am NOT accusing TSUN of having widespread steroid use. Funny thing is, they kept up the over-training for longer than your typical steroid cycle. What I am saying is that if the described regimen was a reality in AA, then the counter-productive results of severe over-training had a hand in 3-and-9.

BTW, this is the link that lays out the rules, describes the infractions and names the players. (an article the folks on the UM boards seem to have missed)

A look inside Rodriguez?s rigorous program | Detroit Free Press | Freep.com

If this is true (I gleefully believe it is) there are plenty of transfers who can corroborate.
Wow. Putting names to those quotes makes this pretty interesting. This seems like a hard thing to prove though...

Either way, from the stories we've heard about DickRod and Barwis (!!!!!!!11!!!1!!!1!!!11!), this isn't all that hard to believe.

By the way, most of the excuses on their boards now seem to be "everybody does it". Not good enough from those holier-than-thou douchebags. :roll1:

Re: uhoh

Because you have been a good poster here...I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt on that comment as far as being a flame..

However....I would ask that you explain how you know Michigan doesn't play by the rules....and if your answer is that article then I'm going to think a LOT less of you....

Oh there will be hypocrisy on both sides. UM fans are quick to jump upon any OSU rule violation but in this instance its 'hey, everybody does it'. Also this runs counter to UM's image as an institution that does it the right way.
1. Where are our rules violations?

2. How do you know we don't do things the right way?
