Si. White carries WVU. He's arguably the most VALUABLE player in the country. White is a better collegiate player than Bradford.

Again, does OU run the same system? Could they seamlessly impliment the spread-option attack? You're inability to differentiate this simple concept is mind boggling.

No, but he's still a better collegiate player.

  • Hardman Award
  • Playboy All-American
Vs.

Freshman All-American?

Who wins?

And I maintain that White is more valuable to his team than Tebow. Take Tebow out and you replace him John Brantley (right?) and Cam Newton. Not to mention Percy Harvin, Andre Caldwell (last year) Cornelius Ingram (not anymore, but you get the point) etc... are also on the same side of the ball.

But this isn't the argument.

You said Pat White woul start at most other BCS Title contending schools. He wouldn't.

You turned it into a MVP argument. No else did.

You won't address Pat White in a pro-style offense. We all know why you won't.

1. It's part of the argument, due to NF's smiley after I said White was a superior collegiate player.
2. Because he is the most valuable (read: not the best, not the most valuable)
3. He's not a good fit for the pro-style. Happy?

Yes. It is an admission that your previous statement was incorrect. Now we can move on.

Thank you.

1. The smiley was because you continue to refuse to address our point that Pat White simply would not fit in anything outside of the spread option offense. Then you list his accomplishments in the very offense that no other major BCS school runs. Again...
wtf.gif

2. Okay great, he's the most valuable player. How is this valid to the point that at pretty much any other BCS school, he wouldn't start because they lack the personnel to impliment the system in which he's effective?
3. That's a start I guess.

In a (likely futile) attempt to steer this thread back on topic, I'm curious...

Do you still feel this way SNIPER?

You can just say Sniper. I got a little crazy with the caps lock when I created this name.

Not all the way. I still have some doubts about the spread (mainly this year) but change to a stagnant program is a good thing. I think when I posted that I was looking at the short term results (this likely mediocre year). And that was before it was official we had BARWISSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!11 GOD OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING AND MOLDER OF 4.13 40s!!!!!!!!1122!!

Loud Noises!!!

Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch.
Ron Burgundy: It did, didn't it?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

Ron Burgundy: Brick, where did you get a hand grenade?
Brick Tamland: I don't know.
