Let's steer this back on topic: anybody else think Mike Barwis could take down Mike Ditka?

What if Barwis were actually 3 Barwis's. What then?
Trick Question, Barwis, Ditka, and God are the Same Holy Trinity of Football... Da Bers...

Sorry bout that I had a minor channelling of Chris Farley from the great beyond...

Read my above post.

Pat White would not start at UGA or Oklahoma. Your original comment suggessted Pat would start at most BCS Title contenders schools. That is not true.

I'd say Pat is a better college QB than Bradford or Stafford. But we all know he wouldn't start at either school. It'd be comical watching Pat try and run a pro-style offense.

It will be interesting to see if he makes a good WR at the next level though.

well, considering the fact that White has passed for 35 TDs in three seasons, and Sam Bradford passed for 36 TDs in ONE, i think the stats might not back that assertion up... then again, White also has rushed for 39 TDs in 3 seasons, so... White is averaging 24.67 TDs per season... we know that Bradford is averaging 36. Bradford is on pace to throw 144 TDs in 4 seasons. White is on pace to score 99 TDs in 4.

i'll give you Stafford.

The extreme gravitational forces caused by the unnatural amount of sheer awesomeness in one place would tear the planet apart. You don't want that.

More like Barwis would be in a weeping pile with his asshole torn open while Ditka finishes off his cigar.

No need for the apostrophe in students there Jax

Illinois grammer Nazi's. I fucking hate Illinois grammer Nazi's.

So because he was at a pep rally he's a bad coach? Not sure I'm catching your drift.

No, just the dumb hick accent and stammering made me think fo John F. If you saw it I think you would agree that RR's strength is not public speaking.

I should stab you in the neck for that first sentence. You could make Jesus' eyes bleed with your spelling and grammar!

No, it's not. Fortunately, he's a pretty good coach. :)

yeah, I'll give you that.

Yeah, Miami sure has been awesome since they left the Big East. And BC has just been studly.

Record against ranked teams since Miami, VT, BC left the Big East

2007: 4-1 (Loss @ USF, Win @ Rutgers, @ Cincinnati, vs. Oklahoma(still all his players)
2006: 1-1 (Loss @ Louisville, Win vs. Rutgers)
2005: 2-1 (Loss vs. Virginia Tech, Win vs. Louisville, Win vs. Georgia)

7-3 That's bad right?3-0 in bowl games in that time, including wins over #10 UGA in basically a road game and a #4 Oklahoma game which he didn't coach but recruited all of the players that were on the team. 6-3 if you don't count the OU game.
