I have planned to give those who were shorted 500 vBucks their missing loot.

Should just be a slightly more complex query where I select all userid's greater than a value I'd have to figure out (last userid registered before I set everyone to 1000 -- I have the date), and add 500 to whatever value they have for that cash field.

That's a different issue than the transfer though.

Everyone will have bpCash (new system) to play with, it's just going to be on different scales.

You better watch yourself, 3y. Not betting, but drawing bpSalary for everything you do, plus the additional 'site participation' drip -- there are going to be some broke vGamblers eyeballing your vWallet.

There will be a central bank though, you can always hide it away and draw interest.

:lol: Not to worry Clarity, my wife (central bank) already has plans for my bpCash. She's talented enough to spend my virtual money as well! :biggrin:

Good to hear that those shorted vCash will be brought up to speed.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty excited by the idea of having a central bank and the ability to try to steal from other members. All I'm gonna say is, AKAK, if something happens to your wallet, it wasn't me. Really.

Also, if somebody is successful in actually knocking off the central bank, it's not me.

In all seriousness, these changes sound simply amazing. After all you (Clarity) have done so far, I guess I should no longer be amazed, but I am. Question, though...if we are "employed" by the site, are we still allowed to steal from other members? Or is it our job to catch the thieves? Or both? :wink2:

Lets just assume that if there was a group of people on this board that considered their loose association as some type of common goal oriented party, that those individuals would surely not steal from the bank..... Or.... would they..... *cheesy movie soundtrack - da da da dummmm*

No worries FKA, I'm talking in code.. I mean.... I would be talking in code if there was a need to do so... Seems to me any group that existed would have its own forum, whcih clearly we dont. And even if we did at one time, last I heard is it stopped working correctly... well, that is, if it existed at all, which as well all know it didn't. Just speculating.

What are you all talking about? I've never heard of any secret society that has ever had anything to do with BP. Any talk of any secret group would just be ignorant. Please stop wasting everyones time with this. The meeting is on Friday isn't it?
