Will he be a Texan starting next season? The Texans might draft him but will he suit up as one on opening day?

I personally believe they trade make a trade to get an offensive line.

the texans should trade, but I do not think that they will. How will they rationalize another rebuilding season if they passed on reggie and vince (he's not falling out of the top10)? If they gambled on a "once in a generation" player like Bush, and it doesn't work out, I still think the fans will come to see Reggie more than a stronger line with the same average offensive weapons.

It's funny how an individual point of view can change an opinion. I personally do not think reggie will ammount to much in the league so therefore an o-lineman would be a better choice. But everyone else, including the texans fans, are hoping for and immediate turnaround from a playmaker like bush. There is nothing to rebuild if the quality is poor to begin with.

The reason why I say an o-line man is because they already have a 1000 yd rusher in Davis. Also they have a good QB that with a little more development and protection up front can get the job done for them.

Let's say they do pick him up. I still think they'll trade him away for a few veteran players or maybe even one veteran player and another later (2nd or 3rd) round pick.

I just think they need more help on that team other than the RB situation.

The Texans aren't going to trade him if they draft him.

Agreed. I don't think they will draft him though. I think they will trade down a few spots and pick up some more draft picks. That's what they really need right now.

I personally do not think reggie will ammount to much in the league....

I think I agree with you. At this point, I see LenDale White having a much brighter future in the NFL than Bush. Now, if Bush can prove that he is able to run the ball 25-30 times a game, between the tackles, and not wear down, he could be phenomenal - I'm just not convinced he can do that.

The Texans arent going to be fixed by one draft pick, they have plenty of needs. One huge one being O-line.

D'Brick could be an all-pro for 10 years, so that would be the smart pick, to trade down and pick up another second rounder or maybe a 3 and 5 or something.

I don't think they will do that tho, and they will have two very good backs on their team.

I guess another way to look at it for them would to pick up reggie and trade off davis for an O-line

Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner!

You don't pass on a transcendant athlete like Reggie Bush for someone like D'Brickashaw Ferguson - who I personally think will be a bust.

It's just crazy talk to think the Texans aren't taking, by far, the best player in the draft. If it were close, I could understand. But the only other player in this draft who I think is bust-proof is AJ Hawk.

I don't know how you guys are so sure about anything...

If there's anything history has shown, its that no one knows who will be a bust and who will be that "for sure" all-pro.

I think a team should cater to its needs at that point. Regardless of whether Bush is a bust or a future all-pro, they need an O-line.

Why wouldn't you trade your 1st round pick for a late 1st pick and a proven lineman? THhn you get D'Brick, or Matua, or Justice and a veteran. That's half of a rebuild right there.

That's what they need.
