That's correct.

Top seeded Phils would get the WC (4th seed) but if the WC comes from their division, then they will get the 3rd seed, which is currently the Giants.

Since we are currently 2nd seed we would default to the WC (if it comes from the East).

ESPN has a standings page that gets updated with live info and it has the current playoff breakdown.

On the bright side, the Cardinals are getting their teeth kicked in by the Pirates. Trailing 10-1 in the 5th. They've mustered two hits off Charlie Morton, who sports a 1-11 record and 8.27 ERA.
