Paul Bako. Thank god he's catching for Philly tonight or I never would have come up with his name.

1-0 good guys. Bases still loaded with none out. Try not to fuck it up, guys.

All of 1 run in. :tic:

At least Bruce didn't strike out. Or even worse, hit one of those damned rally-killers.

Matt Stairs is a "professional hitter" in case anyone was wondering. I'm about to reach through the radio to bitch slap Brantley's stupid ass.

"Hisself" is not a fucking word.

It is "ask" not "axe".

God, I hate these stupid bastards so much.

Well there is a certain opening day starter for the Dodgers who I am willing to say right now is worse than HB. Unfortunately for me he is on my fantasy band of fucktards.

I hope they send Hideki Kuroda's little ass back to North Korea about one day before we nuke those cocksuckers into the stone age. Little rag arm bastard. I don't even care if he isn't North Korean. Fuck him, send him anyway, non pitching little commie fuck.

Well lets disect that and see what we can learn.

Is he old? Yep, been in the league since 1992.

Is he good enough to be an every day player? Nope, hasn't had over 500 AB's since 1999.

Can he play multiple positions? Yep, 1B and OF.

Can you get similar production form any decent young player? Yep, career line of .266/.359/.483/.841

So he is old, very very average but can play two positions equally poorly so our broadcasters (and manager most likely) love him. That sounds about right.

Whew. Doged a bullet there.

Oh, thank god. I'm finally done with this shit at the office and headed home. I don't get 1230/700 on my car radio, so I can't give into the sick compulsion to listen to them any more tonight. :groove:

This better be over when I get home.

Does a major league team see fit to play him at multiple positions anyway? Yep.

Fixed.
