No Particular batting order but by position:
2-Hernandez
3-Alonzo
4-BP
5-EE
6-TBD maybe Janish? Anyone cheap all glove no hit will do
7-Votto
8-Dickerson/Stubbs
9-Bruce
With our current pitching thats a pretty young talented team right there.

I would move Frazier to AAA sometime soon and move him back to 3B to give him some time there, because if you make the move of Votto to LF Frazier is no longer looked at out there, and he played college SS, so one would think he could handle 3B, but he was moved to LF before this season...This also gives you another RH bat with some pop...6 hole hitter IMO...leave the lefties hit 3/4/5...
Valaika had an injury, and was not swinging a good bat at AAA before the injury and not sure how long he will be out, but he is a guy that could play either SS, be more effective defensively at 2b...
heisey is putting up unreal numbers at AA...Could he be the answer in CF?
Cozart...might be the farthest away with these guys in terms of the bat, but he has showed some good numbers and he can play SS at the major league level...
CF - Stubbs/Dickerson/Heisey
SS - Valaika/Cozart/Janish
LF - Votto
RF - Bruce
1B - Alonso
3b - Frazier/EE
2b - BPhil
C - Hernandez/Hanigan
Bench
Rosales
WT
Janish
you lack a true leadoff hitter if you go with Stubbs as he has struggled at times in the minors as a leadoff guy, but he has the high OBP, and speed that one would look for in a leadoff hitter...gold glove in center...
But you have 5 guys that are legitimate threats at the plate, and then spots like C/SS/CF where we should be really good defensively other than catcher with Hernandez, anything you get is bonous...

Next time you run your trap about going on a road trip and coming home in 1st place, you should do better than 1-for-27 batting in the #4 spot.
Thank you,
He's not swinging at "bad" pitches, he's swinging at everything in the area code of home plate. He goes through protracted stretches like this -- did it last season after his hot start when he was called up, did it this season in April.crazybuckfan40;1478337; said:But just wanted to note on this...He is swinging at bad pitches, and pitchers are figuring that out...but the kid can hit the ball, so once he gets in a grove he can carry the team much like Votto was doing early in the season...

Getting in a groove isn't going to *fix* it, because he'll just go 1-for-27 again when he comes out the other side of that groove in July.
Bruce's problem is discipline and strike zone judgement. He's 22. He's not going to learn that this year, and he's not likely to figure it out next year either.
I'm sure he'll figure it out eventually, but it's going to be awfully painful to watch for the next several years.
