Not to be a kill joy but who was the pitcher? MLB quality or grocery bagger next month?

I do agree that he will be an upgrade. Then again, how could he not be?

The italian pitcher was throwing 90+ but it looked like he had no movement, just straight and fast. The pitch hernandez hit was a rising fastball (dream pitch) that he absolutely detonated.

Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.

Yeah, thats the most amazing thing about the talent MLB hitters have. Anything that doesn't have movement they will mash no matter the velocity.

I know so many guys who had stuff we couldn't touch at legion ball level or low A and only 1 made it to the show(short brutal career). Lack of movement on their fastball was the reason for every damn one of them.

People just don't realize how good MLB hitters are and then consider RH is nothing more than a slightly above average catcher. He's not a big stick by any stretch of the imagination.

They always amaze me.

Best start of the spring from Aaron Harang: 4 shutout innings, 3 hits, no walks, 4 strikeouts vs the Astros today. He was hittin 94 on the gun.
Sure, the Reds can dominate the Astros when Roy Oswalt is in another country pitching for the national team.

Hey guys, every time E-5 plays one off his hips instead of getting in front of the ball...just play this (it's keeping with the theme from ealier too)

Don't try to fool yourself into thinking this team is anything more than a .480 team.

They are at least a season away still. Too much deadwood at this time.

MO will have a solid year without question in my mind. The biggest thing for him is the arm is finally healthy. Plus...that changeup is improved. And the cutter is getting better! Micah is a bring the lunch to work type of guy. That SOB will will bring you max effort everytime he is out there.
