Damn the doorbell rang as I was trying to type that I had a feeling Ross would do something today. Run scoring double with Votto on and the Reds take the 4-3 lead with no out and Ross on second......

1st and 3rd now on the error to Da Meat. Good hustle by Volquez down the line.

Hairston beats out the double play and scores Ross from 3rd. Reds lead 5-3 but it looks like Hairston tweaked his lower back when he hit the bag. If it werent for the injury hitting him this season we could be looking at Jerry Hairston All-Star. He's having a hell of a season as a leadoff man.

Jr. hits into the fielders choice to end the inning.

Not sure if I would of pulled Volquez...He had been breezing, had not really had a tough inning other than the one where he gave up the 3 runs...Where they really weren't hitting him hard...But Dusty went for the dagger trying to put the game out of reach...We do have an off-day tomorrow so that will give the pen rest, especially coco, I am assuming he won't throw today in a save situation...

To follow that up, I hate to speak too soon, but owell..

Our pen has been solid as of late...The combo of Burton, coco has been closing the door in the 8th and 9th other than yesterday when coco blew the save, but got the win...

But Lincoln has been better since he has not really been overused, Bray solid, Weathers solid, Affeldt solid, and the magic man same as Lincoln...

Well yeah, but that is why you get them outings when it is not high pressure or like the 6th inning appearance or something like that...
