well they mentioned on the telecast that every team is wearing the blue hats to represent the welcome home committee? something like that, but the mlb is supposed to auction things off to raise money and all. But yes it is because of the 4th as well.
solid win, decent outing for arroyo but happy 4th.

I just tried reading some of the thread about the "buzz" on RZ. It was painfully tedious - like watching the Reds try to put bat on ball against a left-hander making his first start after making the jump from AA, or reading about scUM fans monitor airplane traffic in the midst of a coaching search.

Everyone else can give up, and maybe they dont have a very good chance of stealing a WC berth, but you cant help but love the young core of players on this team.

Somebody please tell me how Kyle freakin Lohse is 7-0 w 2.50 ERA in his last 7 games!?!?!

What does he have a bionic implant now or something? 10-2 on the season. Are our pitching coaches/methods really that bad that a guy like that can get a change of scenery and just become Cy Young? I hope thats not the case and if it is fire every damn one of them now! Well, except for Soto.

He has a very good defense behind him...Lohse always had the stuff, he just didn't have the mental capacity, to get thru struggles on the mound...
