Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

The snowball is now water.

Needed at least 2of3 in both series to believe they had a chance to climb back in it. Instead the Cubs and Brewers go out and make deals to get better and we sit on our hands waiting for someone to come along and pillage the roster so we can "rebuild" again. Yuk.

That sacrifice was a weird play. Cueto cocked to throw to second (he should have thrown, he would have got the lead runner) and instead turned and lollygagged the throw to first. Zambrano beat the throw, but was called out anyway.

No way that was a double by Fukudome - that was an ERROR in ALL CAPS. I'm tired of trying to defend Dunn's defense. That ball was a notch more difficult than your typical can o' corn, and he completely screwed it up.

Cueto pitched very well tonight. He got screwed over by some really shitty defense. Fuck the Cubs, and fuck their official scorer!
