Hilarious. As soon as Brantley says "They've got to go back to the outside corner and stay away from the inside." They pop em up on the fists on the inside.
Cueto isnt missing his spots he's just getting too much of the plate with the good pitches and they're hitting him out. Been that way much of the year. I bet he'd maybe benefit from a different catcher calling his game. Make Johnny mix it up inside/outside a little more and keep em guessing.
We need to score some more runs here boys and get the sweep.

I love to hear the crowd finally getting a bit rowdy. The Cincy fans deserve something to be boisterous about.

Great effort there by Jared Burton. Winning is contagious and so is effort like that.
I'm firmly in the court who thinks Jay Bruce is a Center Fielder. I know we are in the minority and maybe Jay doesnt have the speed some others have, but he gets a much better jump on the ball in Center and he's able to get to most of the balls hit there. I dont think he judges the ball as well in Right, as seen in the 8th inning there. It will be easier for the Reds to find a right fielder than a center fielder as well.
End of 8 Reds lead 6-2. Bottom of the order due up.

Perfect freakin game. Cueto delivers exactly what the doctor ordered.
First time since '99 this team does exactly what they need to at every small critical moment in a game or in a series to win.
Funnest week of being a Reds fan for me in so long I can't recall.
8 game roadie against the two best teams in the NL east. Come home 4-4 and I'll be happy. We have the pitching matchup in our favor for 2 of the 4 in Philly.

That was a great bunt today.
Speaking of Hariston, the reason he got into it with Mcann today was that he was up there after jawing at the POS from Atlanta that bunted to break up the no hitter. :cheers:
Loved seeing it then and love it even more now that I know why. Fuck the Braves and fuck the punch and judy,#8 hitting little homo that dropped down the bunt.
Also from RZ looks like its Homer time again, he will get the call to spot start on Thursday. Can't really argue too much with it but I think Maloney has earned the shot before HB. Hopefully he catches the bug thats going around this team right now, pulls his head out of his ass and contributes.
