Yeah but you have to take into account that Bray and the Magic man have been hurt, and we havent really been able to see their value...

Bray and Majewski project out to solid middle relievers at best. The fact Majewski was being abused was easy for anyone to see who had access to a stat sheet, forget about the corisone shot. You get two guys like that for one young position player not two. The all glove no hit infielder we got could be up here for league minimum right now but instead we pay Castro 1M to do it. Thompson is looking good but labrum surgery is labrum surgery...I'll believe he has a productive MLB career when I see it. I was 100% fine with the idea of The Trade, the execution sucked.

WK has had some good moments, some horrendous ones and some head scratchers. I don't expect the guy to be perfect but given his body of work to date, questioning his ability isn't being overly negative or flying off the handle imo. More has gone wrong than has gone right.

Third straight loss to Nats leaves them 18-30 this season

The Reds made excuses about seeing-eye ground balls and bad breaks Thursday.
But the cold hard fact is this: They lost to the Washington Nationals 4-3.
It was their third straight defeat against the Nats, who came into the four-game series with the worst record in National League. That distinction - if that's the right word - now belongs to the 18-30 Reds.
The Nationals just took the series from us," losing pitcher Matt Belisle said. "That's hard to take. But Pittsburgh's coming in. There's no time to sulk."
The Reds are on pace to lose 102 games this year. There has been only one 100-loss season in franchise history.

Majewski gets 2nd shot at savior
Immediately goes to work, pitching in ninth inning

Now that Gary Majewski is back with the Reds, don't expect him to be pitching in the sixth inning or doing any mop-up duty.
"Somewhere between the seventh and eighth innings," Reds manager Jerry Narron said when asked when he'd use the relief pitcher. "Maybe somewhere between the eighth and ninth. He's not going to get eased in."
On Thursday, the Reds called up Majewski from Triple-A Louisville and optioned Todd Coffey to the Bats. Later, Majewski got the last two outs of the ninth inning against Washington. He hit a batter, then got a flyout and a groundout. He hit 95 mph on the scoreboard clock twice and was consistently at 94.

Home runs no minor matter for Coffey

It's no coincidence that the night before he was optioned to Triple-A Louisville, Todd Coffey gave up two home runs.
The long ball went a long way toward earning Coffey his ticket to the minors.
Coffey, a 26-year-old right-hander, went 6-7 with a 3.58 ERA and eight saves last year. His walks plus hits per inning came to 1.43. He was 1-1 with a 4.94 ERA this year, and his walks plus hits per inning totaled 1.60.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Fire Narron. DFA Weathers, Stanton, Santos, Milton, Tweety, Elmer Fudd, Bugs and any other clown they can get their hands on. This is looking to be one of the worst teams of this century! Granted the century is only 7 years old but c'mon. We are going to lose 100 at least.

Fans need to stop going to the ballpark altogether. Hit Bob in the wallet for about a month and maybe he'll make a move.

I'll give Stormy his due.

He's only an average middle reliever and so far this year he's done all you can expect of him in a role he simply isn't good enough for while being misused by a complete an utter fool of a manager.

He's also the only one I've seen show any emotion whatsoever about the mass suck going on with this club. Maybe I'm just sentimental but a guy going into the dugout and wailing the shit out of something when his best just isn't good enough earns some slack from me.

The rest of these suckholes can go pound sand. Start with WK, get Narron and work your way down to the fucking hotdog vendors. I want an exorcisim nothing short of that will do.

If you listen to Colin Cowherd like I do, every day, (you should, it's great..) he said he is not a fair weather fan, will never be one, doesn't respect them, etc...but is willing to cut the fans a break when a team they root for continuously proves they are not capable of giving back to their fans. Whether or not they try, it's just every move that the team makes seems to dig a deeper hole, and it hit home being a Reds fan. Anyone else hear the same show, and feel like I do? I love the Reds, man, I love the Reds. But I need to see some improvement sometime in the near future.

I used to tell my cousins who are Bengal fans they had earned the right to file for fan Free Agency. My magic number is 13 years. If your pro sports team(never college) sucks donkey dick for 13 years or more AND the franchise is still being run by some fuckhead thats just trying to make a buck then by all means....submit thy fan FA paperwork to your agent by the deadline.

Man I know I'm not the only guy coming around here tired of eating shit sandwiches from this Reds team either. That crap tonight was just freaking brutal! Don't they have to win a game once in a while? The law of averages should say yes shouldn't it? Harang was awesome after the 2nd inning and we sucked big donkey balls again. JR. is unbelievable right now and I hope the Red Sox or Braves call him tomorrow. The guy deserves a chance to win one and he's not even going to sniff the post season in Cincy. I've been hanging on to the thought of having JR., Dunn and Hamilton in the outfield for next year, but thats not fair to JR. I'm starting to lean more towards trading Adam Dunn right now also. Get rid of all of them bastards if we have to, but start at the top first!
