Reds Tidbits (2007 Season)

Well hopefully the 2 runs we scored in the 9th can propel us for tomm...

I just keep tuning in hoping and thinking that things can only get better...

Burton threw a nice 9th inning besides the walk he gave up, but no one made solid contact against him...I still think he has a lot of potential and hope that he stays with us for the remainder of the season...

Should be interesting to see what Livingston does tomm...I am prediciting about 5 2/3 with about 4 runs...O yeah and of course a lose considering we can't score four runs...

OK one more nail in the WK coffin for me.

They optioned SALMON back to L'ville to make room for Livingston!!!!!!!!!

They keep Stanton, Weathers, Santos and fucking Castro around but get rid of the young guy who actually showed a little something in the few appearances Jerry let him make!!!!

Anyone who is still in favor of WK needs to at the very least begin to entertain the the idea we may have yet another completely inept fool for a GM. For those like me who know a turd in the punch bowl when you see one, I'm done with the fuckstick.

If Coffey is out of options(I don't think he is) I take back the rant a little. You could still get rid of Santos and not hurt this team one bit, just make them younger and cheaper while not hurting performance.

Kriv is lost folks and he's already in full blown CYA mode.

Salmon still needs some time to develop his other pitches...I fully expect him to be back up by the end of the year, at least in Louisville he will be able to see the mound instead of 1 time a week as Narron likes to use him...

Also you have another guy in Burton that they need to see what he can do and him and Salmon would be taking innings from each other...

The main question really is what they do when EE comes back up, and when Bray, Majew, and Guardado come back...

Salmon is right now a 100% replica of Coffey but with a better fastball.

Why does everyone else have to work things out in AAA while that dipshit gets to work them out by getting ass pounded at the MLB level?

I'm not trying to be unreasonable, its a legit question. The only difference I see bewteen Salmon, EE and Coffey is contract status.

Coffey does have some other pitches, but his problem is that he relies on that fastball way too much...We saw what happened to Salmon's change the other night against Berkman...

I agree that Coffey could also use some time in AAA, but I think his main problem is that Narron just keep sending him out there day after day...

If the Reds were a normal franchise, I'd be just as pissed off as you, Jax. However, I'm kinda glad Salmon won't be around to get infected by the immense suckitude of this team. Keep him down there, and don't bring him back until the Reds get serious about not sucking.

I know just about every player would rather be on the bench in the bigs than playing regularly in the minors. However, if Narron is going to avoid using him because of the chance he *might* suck as opposed to using veterans that suck for sure, then he might as well be back in L'ville.

I've been one to be inclined to give WK the benefit of the doubt so far. However, his CONTINUED REFUSAL to own up to the fact that he has assembled a bullpen full of (at best) spare parts as well as the refusal to take action in response to the mismanagement of the lineup has changed my attitude to the point where WK is going to have to win back my support.

That jackass Santos just had to pitch 3 scoreless innings last night and screw things up. I thought for sure he would be gone.

I do believe that Dunn was hitting something like 400 or something like that off the guy pitching today and we kept him out of the lineup...

We played Freel more at third when EE was up here than we have since he went down...

I also think that the ball that Freel dropped once again, just had to be with not being out there everyday...He peeked over to see if Griffey was almost there, took his eye off the ball and missed it...I am so sick of the rotating positions and positions in the lineup that I want to puke...

Overall I think that Livingston has thrown decent...The balls in the first were finding the holes and besides the double by Furcal in the first, the reds are just can't seem to be catching breaks, as the Dodgers just get all these infield hits bloops, and etc...

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Pretty damned close. Not a bad debut, eliminate that walk to Hendrickson and it would have been solid. He's not going to break any radar guns but if he can locate he'll be a good 5th starter.

I have no faith that the pen holds this lead.

Seriously, are these guys even trying? What the hell was that? Ross should have put that ball in his pocket like Martin did and Coffey pulled some bush league nonsense slapping at it. I keep thinking they can't find any more ways to fuck up and they keep inventing them.

BTW, still don't understand why Narron lets Livingston hit and then only pitch to one batter. He does that all the time and I never get it.

Yeah well WTF was Narron doing taking him out...WTF have him pitch to one guy in the sixth, if you have plans of taking him out why not pinch hit for him in the sixth...We could of had a big inning if someone like Hopper leads the inning off with a single or a walk or something...

THen you bring Coffey in who gives up the lead why we look like the bad news bears out there throwing the ball around...

I FUCKING HATE JERRY NARRON I THINK MY DEAD GRANDMOTHER COULD MANAGE BETTER THAN HIM, I HOPE HE GETS THE FUCKING BOOT AFTER THIS SERIES...

FUCK
